Food & Nutrition
The subject of food and nutrition can cover a thousand pages, and that’s just to explain the basic mechanics of how it can impact the body. We all remember that from an early age, our parents always tried to give us plenty of fruit and vegetables in our diets, because that was the logical thing to do.
As each generation matures, the world becomes more efficient and scientifically driven in how it develops it’s crops there is the inevitable question mark as to whether it still delivers the same amount of vitamin potency within our harvested foods. There is evidence that crops that were grown in the past were much richer in vitamins and nutrients than in today’s world. Much of this is due to soil depletion and how it has been over farmed.
Along with this, much of the population now consumes processed foods lacking in fresh nutrients, and much of it with added sugar and trans fats. There is the question also about the impacts on how pesticides have on our crops but also on how genetically modified foods are impacting on our food chain.
What we can definitively say is that, our bodies just need good nutrition to be efficient especially when it comes to exercise. Obesity is this one of the biggest problems facing human evolution today. It can be said that it causes 4.7 million premature deaths every single year.
One way that people can help their dietary intake is with better nutrition. Consuming organically sourced foods are the best way to make a change. The other major way is to start decreasing the amounts of sugar and processed foods in the daily diet.
In a recent 2019 study, 77% of Americans now consume a dietary supplement every day. It would also seem that adults between the age of 35-55 consumes some sort of diet supplement.
Our philosophy is to make it as easy and simple as possible to assist in this process. There is a reason why vitamin supplements have grown in the marketplace. We want to advocate a wholistic approach as we roll out our products. Into the marketplace. We want to give people the basics to get started and find ways where we can encourage people to start a healthier lifestyle.
Our products will offer basic starter products that will get people started to exercise. This will give people the support that the body requires and also the energy to maintain it. Going side by side with this is that support products that are needed to build on the fitness as the body and the mind becomes healthier. One thing we cannot do however is make the decision for people to make a start. Hopefully as we grow and as we build on our movement, we can send the message that we don’t care how you start, but what we care about is that you start and keep going. This is why B.ARS Supplements started. This is the reason why.
